Spring Scramble
Saturday, April 25, 2026
Location: Tejas Pickleball Club
Time: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Players will compete in a doubles scramble format, rotating partners each round while earning points individually throughout the event. This format keeps the games competitive, social, and gives everyone a chance to play with different partners.
This event is designed for 3.0 - 3.5 level players and matches will not be submitted to DUPR. Come out, meet new players, and enjoy a great evening of pickleball competition.

Meet the people behind Baseline Pickleball
Our Story: From a Shared Court to the Gold Standard
Every great venture begins with a single serve. For Baseline Pickleball, that serve took place on a random night at a local pickleball club, where two "randoms" were paired together for a standard round-robin.
Eddie, a program manager with an eye for building and executing precise projects, and Rick, an experienced cybersecurity leader driven by high-impact strategy, seemed like an unlikely duo. Despite their different styles, they found a unique rhythm, winning their bracket and striking up a conversation that would last far beyond the final whistle.
The Turning Point
As their friendship grew over consistent recreational games and regional tournaments, so did a shared frustration. They loved the sport, but they were consistently disappointed by the lack of professional execution at the amateur level. They saw taped-down lines, confusing paper brackets, and a general lack of the "pro-tour" atmosphere that a sport this dynamic deserved.
The vision for Baseline Pickleball was clear: to build a community and an event experience that matched the energy of the players on the court.
The Vision Realized
They combined Eddie’s expertise in project execution and logistics with Rick’s strategic mindset and high-stakes operational experience. Their goal was simple: to bridge the gap between casual open-play and the professional tour.
Today, Baseline Pickleball is the realization of that fated night. We don’t just host tournaments; we create immersive athletic experiences. We bring the same passion we found on that first shared court to every event we produce—ensuring that every player, from the CEO to the first-timer, feels like they are playing on center court.
